We are proud to announce that Sanctuary of Creation has been selected to participate in the Health & Care Innovations – Ignite Labs Programme, a national initiative delivered by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) through Innovate UK. This recognition places our work at the forefront of pioneering ventures shaping the future of health and care in the United Kingdom.
Over four weeks, our founder and director,Serena Marija, joined a select cohort of startups and SMEs exploring transformative solutions for the UK health sector. The programme culminated in a high-stakes pitch session at the Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre (AWRC), where Serena presented a brain-healing innovation from our newly restructured Sanctuary of Wellness division.
On the Edge of a New Mental Health Paradigm
The innovation showcased is a neuroadaptive, AI-integrated therapeutic system designed to restore coherence across cognitive, emotional, and physiological dimensions. Merging insights from brain science, trauma studies, and digital healing environments, it proposes a new approach to mental health: one that honours the holographic complexity of the human experience.

A Programme Rooted in Purpose and Process
Delivered with exceptional care and rigour, the Ignite Labs programme immersed participants in the tools of design thinking, system mapping, and product validation. From hands-on site visits at the National Innovation Centre for Ageing to deep dialogues with health sector leaders, the programme was a catalytic environment for refining early-stage, high-impact ideas.

As we scale our neuroadaptive wellness innovation into future development and pilot phases, we remain committed to bridging the often-divided worlds of technology, care, and consciousness.
